Korean Register has been conducting R&D activities associated with risk assessment methodologies for the design & operation concept of ship and offshore plant system, since 1990. Risk assessment is a methodology that enables safer and more reliable design development by systematically analyzing and evaluating the risk and reliability of the target system using a probabilistic approach.
