Over the past two decades, we have undertaken a number of structural integrity assessments for ship and plant systems by working closely with the world’s major shipyards and related maritime organizations.
A structural integrity assessment determines whether a structure meets the relevant rules and standards through numerical calculation of its stiffness, stress distribution and deformation induced by internal and external pressures such as hull weight, outfitting, cargo weight, wind, current and wave motion.
We perform research work on behalf of shipyards for a range of offshore structures including jack-ups, drilling rigs, FPSOs, FPUs and FSOs.
