「The 18th Meeting of the KR European Committee (KREC)*」took place on July 10th, with KR hosting the event in London, UK.

Additionally, the aim is to showcase KR's impressive technical achievements and initiatives to stakeholders in the European maritime community, all with the goal of advancing the entire global maritime sector.

During the 18th meeting, KR highlighted its strides in technology and R&D efforts focused on decarbonization—an issue of utmost importance for the international maritime industry. Attendees engaged in comprehensive discussions on how to effectively address the recently revised ship GHG reduction targets established at IMO MEPC 80. Deliberations also centered around decisions made by other influential international maritime bodies, including IACS.
