1. Please be informed that 2025 KR Technical Rules have been amended to reflect the Requests for Establishment/

    Revision of Classification Technical Rules as below, and you are kindly requested to apply these amendments to the relevant works.

Pt 9 Ch 2 of the Rules for the

Classification of Steel Ship

(Cargo Handling Appliances)

Immediately

(based on the date for

construction contract)

- Revision of the application of periodical survey window of ships not subject to SOLAS

- Revision of the requirements for documents to be submitted and criteria for acceptance of certificate at Registration Survey after Construction

Ch 16 of the Guidance for

Low Flash Point Fuel Ships

Immediately

(based on the date for

construction contract)

- Revision of the requirements for overall performance test and cold spot inspection

  

2. Furthermore, please be informed that the establishment will be included in 2026 edition of KR Technical Rules.
