  · Cause of Detention:
  - Gear handle rotating by moving parts of the lifeboat launching winch

  3. BULK CARRIER (Flag: Liberia)

   · Date: February 13, 2025

  · Place: Tangshan, China
  · Cause of Detention:
   - The spray nozzle blocked in the paint store
   - Rescue boat cannot be started

  4. OIL/CHEMICAL TANKER (Flag: Panama)

  · Date: February 18, 2025

  · Place: Tuapse, Russian Federation
  · Cause of Detention:
   - BWTS inoperative and not informed to Flag/Port Authorities/RO
   - Ballast water was not treated
   - Not familiar with proper operation

  5. OIL/CHEMICAL TANKER (Flag: Panama)

  · Place: Qinzhou, China
  · Cause of Detention:
   - Fire alarm system malfunction
   - Alarm of No.1 S/G cannot be activated
   - FF lifeboat does not synchronize with rudder
   - Inflatable chamber of rescue boat not enough
   - Enclosed space entry and rescue drill not satisfactory
