[Mokpo Branch Office] Technical Seminar on HMM Methanol-fueled 9K TEU Container Ships

 

 

KR Mokpo branch office is conducting Classification Surveys during Construction (KR Single Class) for Korea’s first methanol-fueled container ships, seven 9,000 TEU vessels ordered by HMM and built by HD Hyundai Samho. The first vessel is scheduled for delivery in late March 2025.

At the request of HMM, a technical seminar on methanol-fueled ships was held on February 10, following the initial session on January 23. This session addressed additional regulatory requirements related to methanol fuel systems.
