KR successfully hosted the 5th K. LNG Owners Forum on February 5 at La Valse hotel in Busan, bringing together over 50 experts and representatives* from leading LNG shipping companies, shipyards, and engine manufacturers in Korea.

Since its first launch in 2023, the K. LNG Owners Forum has been held biannually as a platform to share the latest insights and discuss effective industry strategies. This year’s forum was following the IMO’s recent decision at MEPC 82 to strengthen regulations, including stricter EEXI & CII requirements, as part of global efforts to accelerate GHG reductions in maritime industry.
