The 109th session of Maritime Safety Committee (herein after referred as MSC 109) was convened as a hybrid meeting in London from 2 to 6 Dec 2024. In addition to the News Flash of MSC 109 issued by KR on 6 Dec 2024, attached please find the News Final of MSC 109.

Please be informed that the News Final contains more information and the impact analysis on the outcome of MSC 109, based on the final report (MSC 109/22) recently issued by the IMO.

Nonetheless, MSC 109/22/Add.1, which will contain the amendments to the mandatory IMO instruments adopted by MSC 109, are yet issued by the IMO.
