On 31 March, KR presented a plaque of merit to KCTC Chairman SHIN Tae-beom at KCTC's headquarters. KCTC is a comprehensive logistics service provider based in Korea.

The ceremony was held in recognition of Chairman SHIN's contribution to the construction of Korea's first planned vessel and KR's first foreign-flagged ship.

KR Chairman & CEO LEE Hyungchul said: "Chairman Shin Tae-beom's lifelong passion for the maritime industry and his tireless efforts to develop it have contributed greatly to the development of both KR and the Korean shipping industry. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Chairman Shin for his great achievements and contributions.”
