KR demonstrated a strong will to continue to ensure offshore wind power based technologies. This helps promote the stable development of the new and renewable energy industry in Korea

KR was awarded the Grand Prize for this year's Industrial Promotion Award by Korea New & Renewable Energy on 29 November.

In addition, the Special Achievement Award was awarded to LEE Sanglae, General Manager of KR Wind Energy Business TFT, who made extraordinary contributions to the field of new and renewable energy research over the past two years as a planning director of Korea New & Renewable Energy. 

The Grand Prize is awarded to companies and institutions that have contributed to the industrialization and commercialization of new and renewable energy in Korea. The Special Achievement Award is given to individuals who have made special contributions to the field of new and renewable energy research over the past year.

YU Changyeul, Head of the KR New Business Enhancement Agency, who attended the award ceremony, said, “We are honored to receive this award. KR has put a lot of effort into developing offshore wind power-based technologies and jointly collaborating with related organizations for commercialization. We will do our best to ensure the stable development of the new and renewable energy industry in Korea.”
