Korean Register (KR) held an inauguration ceremony for its new Integrated Survey Center (ISC) at the company’s headquarters in Busan, Korea, on 28 April as part of KR’s commitment to becoming a leading digital classification society.

Korean Register (KR) Senior Surveyor, HA Seungman, has been awarded the prestigious Denny Medal from the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science & Technology (IMarEST). The renowned Denny Medal is awarded to the best paper published in the Journal of Marine Engineering and Technology (JMET) and the Journal of Operational Oceanography (JOO).

KR is developing an around view monitoring system that supports vessel pilots and captains as ships become increasingly autonomous and ports become increasingly smart.
