Tripartite 2025 was successfully held at Signiel Busan from 21–23 October, bringing together key representatives from shipowners, classification societies, and shipyards to discuss a wide range of topics on technology, safety, and the environment.
Hosted by the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS) and co-organized by Korean Register, the Korea Shipowners’ Association, and the Korea Shipbuilders’ Association, this year’s meeting provided an important platform for open dialogue and collaboration among the three major sectors of the maritime industry.
The conference officially opened on 22 October with welcoming remarks from KR Chairman & CEO LEE Hyungchul, followed by updates from working groups and in-depth discussions on decarbonization, environmental regulations, the IMO Net-Zero Framework, safety, and Maritime Autonomous Surface Ships.
KR remains committed to strengthening its technical leadership through close collaboration with industry partners and contributing to the sustainable growth of the global maritime community.
