KR successfully held the KR Eco-Friendly Technology Conference 2025 on 18 September at The Plaza Hotel in Seoul, bringing together key stakeholders and experts from the shipbuilding and shipping industries.

As the global maritime industry prepares for the upcoming implementation of the IMO’s mid-term greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction measures, interest has been growing in developing effective response strategies and adopting eco-friendly alternative fuel vessels.

Under the theme “Navigating the Future: Industry Strategies for IMO Mid-Term Measures,” the conference aimed to share insights on the industry’s practical responses to evolving environmental regulations, highlight the latest technological trends, and explore opportunities for collaboration.
