[Statutory System Certification Team] The 2025 Q2 Safety Management Council

KR held the Q2 Safety Management Council to improve the quality of safety management systems for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), focusing on preventing PSC detentions and maritime accidents, in July. The council gathered 30 quality/safety managers from 24 domestic SMEs, alongside key members of KR’s Statutory System Certification Team and the Busan Branch office.

    2. Participants: 24 domestic companies (Including Sinokor Ship Management Co., Ltd.,

                                Wilhelmsen Ship Management Korea Ltd., Shinsung Shipping Co., Ltd., Heung-

                                A Marine Co., Ltd.)

    3. Key Presentations:

• Overview of PSC inspection procedures and case studies based on recent PSC detention
• Updated audit practices under the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries’ 2025 Supervisory plan
