[Mokpo Branch Office] Technical Seminar on Korean-Flag Requirements for 8,700 TEU Container Ship Project at HD Hyundai Samho

KR held a bespoke technical seminar to support Korean-flag compliance for the upcoming construction of two 8,700 TEU container ships for Korea Marine Transport Co., Ltd. (KMTC).

As these vessels will be the first Korean-flagged vessels built by HD Hyundai Samho, the seminar was organized to help the shipyard take proactive measures in understanding the statutory requirements under Korean national laws including the Ship Safety Act. Construction is scheduled to commence in December 2025.

The seminar included in-depth discussions on anticipated technical issues and proved highly beneficial for both parties to align on key regulatory requirements.
