On 15 September, KR launched the New Building Master (NBM), enabling shipowners to manage the newbuilding process on their own. The solution has been provided to shipowners who are using or planning to use KR's survey service for their newbuilding vessels.

NBM can systematically manage the process of a newbuilding project commissioned by a shipowner, and even after the project has been completed, history search, viewing and database management are possible. It provides standard inspection items for major ship types and allows editing. On-site comments for each inspection item can be managed in real time by attaching documents, photos and videos.

In addition, the daily inspection report function enables daily monitoring of the process status, and the dashboard provides an intuitive understanding of the process progress.

In addition to various functions, NBM has been implemented to enable real-time checking of target ship information between the shipowner and KR, such as drawing approval status, equipment approval status, ship inspector and drawing approval person in charge, and even ships with different shipyards can be integrally managed through the NBM system.

The newly developed NBM aims to help shipowners optimize the newbuilding process based on an integrated database, with KR continuing to provide services to increase customer satisfaction.
