KR hosted the 28th ISO Regular Seminar at the Ramada Encore Busan Station on 19 October to share information with customers.
The ISO’s regular seminars have been held annually to support KR customers in establishing sustainable management strategies, highlight the most pressing industry issues and provide expert insights.
This year, an expert from the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy was invited to present ‘Macroeconomic Trends and Outlook Information'. The presentation aimed to help companies manage oil price fluctuations and exchange rate risks. Furthermore, KR experts held a presentation on the latest shipping and shipbuilding industry trends and practical approaches to occupational safety and health risk management to effectively respond to the Act on the Punishment of Serious Accidents.
Following the seminar, an appreciation plaque for “maintaining excellent for ISO certified companies” was awarded to: DongHwa Entec, SK Shipping, Shinil, Sinokor and SM KLCSM.
Yu Changyeul, Head of KR New Business Enhancement Agency said:
