Korean Register (KR) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority on 4 May to strengthen the cooperative system between the two organizations, such as establishing a global marketing network.

Through this agreement, KR and Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority will build up partnerships by working together in various fields including mutual information exchange for domestic and foreign port and ship technology development, cooperation in port access and use procedures for efficient classification survey, and research and development cooperation to strengthen digital and eco-friendly technology.

KR operates more than 60 branch offices in major cities around the world and through this MOU the society plans to further strengthen its global marketing network.
