KR held its 1st KR North Europe Committee and Technical Seminar in Hamburg, Germany, from May 20-21, officially launching a committee of leading figures from the region's maritime industry while showcasing KR's next-generation capabilities and reinforcing its global standing.

Korea’s cumulative offshore wind operating capacity remains at around 125 MW — including Tamra (30 MW, 3 MW × 10 units), the Southwest Sea demonstration complex (60 MW, 3 MW × 20 units), and Yeonggwang (34.5 MW, 2.3 MW × 15 units). However, projects totaling approximately 18.8 GW are currently in the development stage, and the national target is to complete 12 GW by 2030.

The 111th session of Maritime Safety Committee was convened as a hybrid meeting in London from 13 to 22 May 2026.

KR Domestic Business Development Team held the "5th Newbuilding Technology Exchange Meeting" on 28 May at the Lotte Hotel in Seomyun, Busan for newbuilding technical-team personnel from major domestic shipping companies along with KR staff.
