| The tonnage of a ship serves as a standard for levy of various taxes, use of port, canal tolls, pilotage. Although naval vessels are exempt from these levies, the passage of naval vessels through canals requires tonnage certification issued by the recognized organization. To this end, KR has been issuing tonnage certificates for naval vessels according to various international tonnage convention and rules and regulations. |
