KR was officially designated as a Recognised Organisation (RO) by the San Marino Civil Aviation and Maritime Navigation Authority (SM-CAA-MNA) on 18 January and signed an agreement with the Government of San Marino on its behalf.

Recently, KR received an inquiry from a client through its Athens office regarding the possibility of adding a San Marino-flagged vessel to KR's fleet. KR met the requirements for delegation of inspection rights from the San Marino authorities, resulting in the signing of the San Marino Government Delegation of Inspection Rights Agreement.

The new inspection rights from the Government of San Marino brings the total number of countries that have delegated inspection rights under the International Maritime Organization (IMO) regulations to 80.

KR expects to provide smoother and more satisfactory services to its customers with the acquisition of this inspection right. It will continue to make its best efforts to expand its inspection rights on behalf of foreign governments to strengthen its international competitiveness.
