KR LNG Survey Technology Team held the 3rd K-LNG OWNER's Forum at HMM on 26 January, with representatives from six major shipping companies in attendance.

The forum was held under the theme 'Global LNG Owners' Issues, Technical Issues, and Discussions on Environmentally Friendly Engines.' The program included:

• A keynote speech by YOON Boogeun, EVP of KR Survey Division
• A case study on the economic feasibility of ships using alternative fuels by LIM Sunghwan, SVP of KR Business Support Team
• Decarbonization Strategy & Service Experience for HiMSEN Engine by HHI-EMD
• Major issues in LNG cargo containment systems presented by LEE Jinhyuk, KR Principal Surveyor
• Major issues in LNG machinery & cargo handling systems presented by PARK Sunjoon, GM of KR LNG Survey Technology Team

The forum provided a great opportunity for participants to share concerns regarding domestic LNG carriers, offer technical opinions based on the recordings, and engage in in-depth discussions.
