[Mokpo Branch Office] Technical Seminar for Shipowners

Mokpo Branch Office conducted a technical seminar on IGC Code requirements for ship superintendents of the 174K LNG carrier ordered by H-Line Shipping and built by HD Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries.

A total of ten technical seminars were held from September 19 to December 21, 2023, to improve the understanding of the IGC Code Convention requirements for ship superintendents of the new LNG carrier project.

The seminar topics included the IGC Code and the requirements of each chapter, and the presentations were followed by Q&A sessions, including discussions on issues related to on-site application.

It was also a great opportunity for our surveyors to learn about various issues encountered in the field for LNG carrier operations. Mokpo Branch Office is doing its best to elevate customer satisfaction by conducting technical exchanges with shipowners and to further advance our LNG survey capabilities.
