The International Maritime Organization adopted amendments to the IMSBC Code (07-23) through resolution MSC.539(107). The amendments will enter into force on 1 January 2025 and may be implemented on a voluntary basis from 1 January 2024. 

This document intends to bring the essential points of the amendments (07-23) to the attention of all concerned parties, including all shipowners/operators, involved in the operation of ships subject to the IMSBC Code.
