Mr. LEE Seungku, General Manager of KR Legal Affairs Team, Concludes Successful Three-Year Term as Chairman of the IACS Expert Group on Law

Mr. LEE Seungku, General Manager of KR Legal Affairs Team, has successfully completed his three-year term as Chairman of the Expert Group on Law of the IACS.

During his term from 2021 to 2023, Mr. LEE gathered opinions on crucial legal issues both within and outside of IACS. This included addressing legal matters related to the introduction of remote surveys due to COVID-19, demonstrating his commitment to supporting IACS' rapid response efforts.

Based on the close relationship he has established with each EG/LAW member, Mr. Lee organized the EG/LAW 2023 meeting at KR headquarters in September 2023. The agenda included important topics such as the revision of the IACS Charter and in-depth discussions on issues such as the revision of the IACS Statutes, etc.

Mr. Lee's successful tenure as EG/LAW Chair over the past three years has been recognized as a significant contribution in enhancing KR's leadership and visibility within the international maritime community.
