KR awarded Pan Ocean the international standard certification "ISO 45001" (Occupational Health and Safety Management System) on December 8, 2023.

ISO 45001, established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), is an international standard certification that evaluates a company's occupational health and safety management system and is awarded to companies that have a system for creating a safe working environment that anticipates and prevents various risks that may occur in the workplace.

Pan Ocean was awarded the ISO 45001 certification in recognition of the company's efforts to create a safe working environment. This was achieved through the establishment and dissemination of safety and health management policies, assessment and remediation of risks, operation of an Occupational Health and Safety Committee, and the formation of an organizational culture centered on safety and health.
