Announcing the release of “KR’s Guide for Biofouling Management Plan and Record Book”.

The IMO’s Biofouling Management Guidelines were revised in 2023 with the goal of maintaining a clean hull, and a dedicated Guidance on In-water Cleaning of Ships’ Biofouling was subsequently developed.

In accordance with these Guidelines, ships are encouraged to develop a Biofouling Management Plan that takes into account the recommended elementsof biofouling management. After implementing the Plan, it is advised that all related actions and activities be documented accordingly.

To support our clients in preparing their Biofouling Management Plans and Record Books, this society has published a relevant guide. We hope this will serve as a useful reference in your work.
