Revision of KR Guidance for the direct strength assessment: Development of the strength analysis procedure for the VLOC
Joint Development Project for IACS CSR-H application with SeaTrust-HullScan
KR conducts a study on the Guidance for the direct strength assessment, and establishes the structural analysis procedure for the VLOC. In addition, KR verifies validity while comparing the results of the structural assessment applying both the existing and revised guidance
In order to study the effect of CSR-H by applying the CSR-H to CSR based ship, KR and Shipbuilder jointly do the consequence assessment using KR’s rule scantling program and find out a proper design for CSR-H. As a result, the customer can build its design capacity and KR can also upgrade KR’s program from the shipbuilder’s feedbacks.
